Strolling Home (2016) initiated my interest in documenting journeys from one point to another. The photonegatives allow to further distort the landscape and presents the viewer with a questionable setting. Although parts of the photographs can be identified after some consideration, certain visual elements remain difficult to recognize. This allows a continued interest in deciphering the content, all the while maintaining elements of mystery. The use of shadows to distort the landscape within Linear Parallels (2015) serves a similar purpose.
