With this series of paintings, I created imaginary landscapes by using colors that reference six different locations in the village of Agios Ioannis, Crete. Each painting is an emotional response to places I often admired or analyzed during my stay in the village.

Endless Blue portrays my experience of floating in the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea, for which the blue tones continuously merged in with the sky. Living out one of my life-long dreams of visiting Greece felt so surreal. The first time I experienced the Cretan beach was one of the calmest experiences I had during my stay on the island.
